Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 (Amplified), "For truly, I say if you have Faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." What is this "Faith" that Jesus is talking about that will move every mountain that stands against us? The writer of Hebrews describes Faith as "the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed of the things [we] Hope for, being the proof of the things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to our senses]." (Hebrews 11:1 ~ Amplified)

I would like to submit to you that Hope is the "Turbo Force" behind our Faith, and without Hope, our Faith has no substance or direction. But with this Hope, we inherit every promise the Lord has given us because He is faithful to His Word.

Numbers 19:23 (Amplified) says, "God is not a man that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He

should feel repentance or compunction (regret) [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?"

In the Greek, "Hope" is the Joyful and Confident Expectation in who HE is and what HE said He would do.

I would like to leave you with the challenge of Isaiah 40:30-31 (Amplified), "Even youths shall faint and be weary, [selected] men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and Hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

As our Hope is anchored in the only True Hope ~ the Lord Jesus Christ, we will see every mountain in our lives removed, and we will possess EVERYTHING the Lord has promised us!
